Meet The Staff of Homecoming Project
There’s no chemical solution to a spiritual problem.
Ms. Shephard was previously the Program Manager and provided case management to Homecoming residents since 2015. She has completed multiple courses in Biology and Psychology at University of Maryland Baltimore County and studied Gender and Culture at the Anglo-Amerika Vysoka Skola in Prague, Czech Republic. She has had 15 years of experience with substance abuse and treatment. Katelyn has experience in customer service, and management prior to her work at Homecoming Project. She is a member of the Homecoming Project Events Committee and helps to plan fundraisers to benefit the program and its residents.

Ms. DiBella has provided case management to Homecoming residents since 2019. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hood College where she studied psychology in 2013. She is continuing her graduate education at University of Maryland’s School of Social Work, with concentrations in non-profit management and social policy. Prior to her work at Homecoming Project, she has had 10 years of substance abuse and treatment experience. Most recently, she worked for the Harford County Health Department, providing peer services to women in the outpatient program and Harford County Detention Center.
As a Homecoming Project alumna, Ms. DiBella knows first hand how important it is to provide a solid foundation in early recovery. Her goal is to assure that each woman who enters the program will have the fullest opportunity to achieve and sustain sobriety, recovery, and positive life change.
