Meet The Staff of Homecoming Project

Robin Keener
Robin KeenerExecutive Director
Ms. Keener has completed extensive coursework in business administration, as well as drug and alcohol addiction. She also attends continuing education classes on medical and therapeutic treatment within the recovery community.

Ms. Keener has a previous ten-year management career at two of the Baltimore Metro area’s top sporting goods retailers. Additionally, she has fourteen years of experience as manager of the Bel Air location for retailer Things Remembered, receiving the company’s Top Manager Award 5 times between 1994 and 2003. Ms. Keener received more than 75 awards for exceptional performance in the business management field. She has over 40 years of substance abuse experience and 29 years of volunteer experience. Robin incorporated Homecoming Project’s Executive Director in 2006.

Katelyn Shephard
Katelyn ShephardProgram Manager
Ms. Shephard has provided case management to Homecoming residents since 2015. She has completed multiple courses in Biology and Psychology at University of Maryland Baltimore County and studied Gender and Culture at the Anglo-Amerika Vysoka Skola in Prague, Czech Republic. She has had 15 years of experience with substance abuse and treatment. Katelyn has experience in customer service, and management prior to her work at Homecoming Project. She is a member of the Homecoming Project Events Committee and helps to plan fundraisers to benefit the program and its residents.

About Homecoming Project

Homecoming Project is an eight bed, state certified half-way house for women recovering from alcohol and substance abuse. The mission of Homecoming Project is to provide women with a comprehensive, family-oriented program of recovery from homelessness and substance abuse in a supportive residential environment.
